Beautiful images, John. Looking at your Q photographs, again (and again), often makes me wonder why I haven't bought a Q.
But then, lately, I've been having fun with - and enjoying - some of the images from my nearly almost equally diminutive Lumix GM5.
Which is probably why I never got a Q.
But damn it makes nice pictures.
Or, rather, it's a good tool for your photographic eye and sensibilities : - )
You ever been in that headspace where you are working to get the shot? You have the subject and the lighting and your working on your framing and your exposure to get it just right. You try a shot, chimp it, make some adjustments to your POV and exposure and aperture, then try again. If you're lucky, you'll get something good after a while. If not, you'll learn and move on.
I had a GM1. Good camera but in the situation described above it felt like a point and shoot on steroids. Or a steer that I had to wrangle to make it do my bidding. Not that I've ever wrangled steers, but you get my drift I hope. The GM5 I hear is better in that regard, but the Q is a willing dance partner, as good as a DSLR in getting out of the way when chasing the shot.
