Happy to see you around! To answer your initial question, I like Polarr a lot; it's available as a ChromeOS app as well as online, and even the free version is really quite powerful; note that you need a subscription to get access to noise reduction, though.

But it may or may not require another app called RollApp:

Personally, I've gone to the dark side and joined Lightroom CC's cloud-based functionality.
