Was shooting a presentation event for a friend. Got down to the last photo, probably the most critical one, and this old guy walks into the frame. I don't usually shoot these kinds of photos, and never even noticed him until I uploaded the shots.
I tried everything I could think of to fix it, but there isn't enough wall/floor/background visible to clone anything. I tried cloning the upper wall and making everything else black, which looked awful. Eventually I got the idea to look at the other images and see if there was a photo that showed the part covered by the man. I found one in the culled folder (never delete until everything has been processed!) and after some cropping and processing was able to drop it under the other image in a layer. Not perfect, but I don't think anyone will be able to tell unless they already know. It saved the shot (and my reputation). Just one more reason to NOT photograph people at organized events.
