Photographs as art or is it the other way round

it doesn't have enough of a digital look for me, I prefer modern cameras ;)

kidding of course, very talente indeed :) but I prefer your black and white picture I have just seen in your gallery, lovely.
 
It's a bit of a niche genre. it asks some nice questions about reality and "reality" (especially about the claim of photography to be something to do with reality) but i'm not sure where it goes after that. i've seen this type of photorealism in galleries on some really big canvases and it really took me by surprise (i hate the phrase "wow factor" but that's what it was), but after that I felt a bit "meh" about it.
there's no doubting the technical accomplishment of course.
it's definitely worth seeking out seeing in person though, web viewing is impressive but seeing the surface of this sort of stuff up close is a different experience.
