Who remembers that episode of Mad Men where the Drapers just throw away all their debris from a picnic? It seemed shocking but it must be more common again. Our village has a litter pick every so often, and even here it’s disturbingly productive. I have worked out that we are exactly one Big Mac meal’s distance from the nearest McDonalds drive-through.
I agree, in fact some people don't even wait until they leave the McDonalds, they heave it all out of the window ,drive off and leave piles in the Carpark when there's a bin about ten feet away! , unfortunately we seem to now live in a " I don't care , what ya gonna do about it " society.
Fly tipping is another big problem , don't get me started on that . :cautious:
