Nasty cactus if there ever was; come near one and they will stab you and then the end sections will break off (notice the pieces on the ground). The piece sticks until you can figure out a way to pull it loose, and then the spines remaining.
When I was in Arizona, we called them Jumping Cactus, I think it is actually a type of Cholla.

This is my first post using the new to me, E-M1x. I'm pretty happy with it so far; but the camera buttons and dials are sooo different from the other Oly's.
The additional weight and bulk isn't a problem.
