Nature Plants of all kinds

Buckeye doing its usual early senescence thing . . . unless of course Autumn is coming really early this year? Why not . . . it's 2020, after all.

View from the Shower - Mayaloka Seminyak Villas - No. 8 - Seminyak, Bali - 2018-06
by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

Our accommodation for a couple of nights before we headed up to our usual stomping ground of Ubud. The Mayaloka is by far the best reasonably priced accommodation we have come across in Bali. Really love the combination of indoor/outdoor living that it offers, which is closer to the Bali lifestyle than most hotels in Bali.

We stayed at Mayaloka Seminyak Villas in October 2018.

One year old cacti. It took them so long to get out of the earth. The tiny seeds are sown in a container with soil, soaked in water, then covered and only opened again when the cacti can be seen. (Around one year plus)The yellow balls are small fertilizer kernels. The cacti now need food.
