Unfortunately there have been only a handful choices of the "pocket camera" to date.
Taking account of the size, weight, IQ and handling, I believe GRiii or GRiiix is the best choice, apart from the issue that it is susceptible to dust/fine intrusion of the camera when it is pocketed.
My DC-GX9 with Lumix 20mm f/1.7 pancake lens serve me very well. It is pocketable when I wear a coat/jacket, or stays in my sling bag when I don't want it to weigh down my coat. The 20mmf/1.7 lens is a slowpoke, and not for action photography, but fits Zen style.
Sony RX100M6 is a choice too. I time to time marvelled at Nuskyn's photos, which are all from RX100M6.
