Last week I had the unexpected opportunity to shoot for a private event featuring celebrity chef Curtis Stone. Most of my shots featured other people, so I’ll limit it to those exclusively of him or the “setup/background”. He seemed like a pretty cool guy. Came over to me to introduce himself, and then later was happy to pose for a shot with me and give me an autographed book.
Now had I known I’d be doing this, I probably would’ve brought at a minimum, a longer lens and a brighter lens at that. I may have even brought a different system entirely, but with low light, high(er) shutter speed, high ISO requirements, it would be taxing on most systems. Again, I relied on DxO to clean up some of the mess. I should at least be happy I had any camera on me, or I wouldn’t have been invited to shoot it at all!
