There has been an increase in reports of some of our members having issues with the editor where the cursor seems to 'jump' around. The common denominator so far has been the usage of either Samsung Browser and/or the Samsung Keyboard app' on mobile devices.
The short answer is to ask our members having issues to please try alternative browsers, like Chrome or Firefox, and alternative keyboards, like Google's GBoard.
The longer answer is that the issue is a bit more complicated. XenForo uses a customized version of Froala, a third-party editor provider. Because it is customized the version of Froala used within XenForo is usually a few versions behind the current release version. Normally XenForo only updates the version of Froala it uses as part of bigger XenForo updates even if there are known issues. In the XenForo support forums there are a good number of admins reporting similar issues. The common denominator in the various threads is that their members are also using either the Samsung Browser and/or the Samsung Keyboard. XenForo has been less than receptive to the idea that it may be a XenForo issue and is leaving it, for now it seems, that it is a Samsung issue.
