way better, Thanks John. I have a ways to go still

what would the white and tint #'s actually be in lightroom? wb=5800? tint=?
You're welcome.

Simple answer - I don't know, Lucien. I could never quite come to grips with Lightroom. I've tried since day one.

On my PC, I use Bridge, ACR and Photoshop.

A lot of editors have a default WB of 6300 or 6500°K, which I usually find to be way, way too high. Normal sunlight where we live is around 5500°K. Shade is a whole other ball game!

I always start with "As Shot" for my default WB, but that can vary dramatically depending on your camera make and even model.

However, in Snapseed there are no real numbers, just + and - ranges.

I have a calibrated workflow on my computers, and adjust where necessary to as close to my memory of the original scene. AWB on Olympus cameras is usually (but not always ... ) spot on.
