For a while heading out of Le Bouchet-Saint-Nicolas the Chemin de Stevenson [GR70] took us through farmlands. This fence and wall caught my eye as we wondered pass. A combination of old and new approaches to stock management.

Whilst today the Yaberoo Budjara Heritage Trail is a mountain biking and walking trail, it started life as a walking trail. This means that the “gate” through the fence onto the trail at the Burns Beach trailhead restricts access to walkers only, so mountain bikers have to go over the fire track access gate.
