Whilst this tunnel is known as Jokers Tunnel, it is within the lease, The Star of Biberatha which is named after the prominent hill where the tunnel is, Biberatha. The Joker’s lease is 100 metres or so to the southeast.

That said the tunnel is appropriately named, later returns from this node where 3 kg of gold from 550 tonnes of ore. Not economical even in the late 1800s.
