Took out my 49 year old Nikkor 85mm f1.8 converted from pre-ai to ai. It’s beaten up and battered having been used for press work but still produces the goods.
*Focal length should read 85mm not 50mm- my setting error.*

Okay, first day out with the Df, so am kind of stoked. Please forgive me if I overpost.
Had a good day, but Bangkok is pretty photogenic, so it’s kind of like cheating.
All these photos were processed in the CaptureOne for iPad beta, which is really quite nice.
And I am coming from m4/3, so depth of field is a new experience for me and I obviously have a lot to learn.

Since gifting it to my son about three years ago, I have not used my erstwhile beloved Df any longer
I still have the D4 (same sensor but different 'feel' altogether)

Actual credits for the picture goes to my late father. I have cabinet full of his slides and I test ran digitising process with Df and ES-2 with micro nikkor 55mm f/2.8. Happy with the results and will do all of his slides for archiving purposes, eventually
