Fascinating to see what makers are creating these days. Jess Hobbs tries out a Press-Pan, a combo of a Nikon FE & Mamiya Press + lots of 3D printed bits and pieces, to create a panoramic 35mm camera similar to the X-Pan. Also links to a number of other people creating bits & pieces to support film-shooters - some of the film-carriers looked pretty interesting, so did the little digital hot-shoe light meter.

Its pretty neat huh?

I was a little surprised they used an FE - maybe it was what they had available. Must be a few out there with dead electronic shutters. I would have thought a K1000 would be more plentiful & cheaper to cannibalise - maybe its trickier to machine out the film-gate for a super-wide view.

From the Video Description, Jess links to the creator + other makers -
