As of recently, I noticed that RAW photos that I process and then export into JPG do not look like the processed RAW photo that I am looking at while in LR3.4. I'll process the RAW file to my liking it, and export (convert) into a JPG. I then open the JPG (in LR3.4 or Windows Photo Gallery), and the JPG does not look like the processed RAW image that I have open in LR3.4.
The biggest difference is the noise reduction levels. I can take all luminance noise completely off by pushing the slider bar all the way to the right. The photo looks totally noise free (and lacking in detail too). After I export to JPG, the noise is there! It's almost as if the act of exporting the RAW into a JPG brought back some of the noise!!!
I am running LR3.4.1 in my desktop computer, which uses Windows Vista.
Not sure if anyone has encountered this issue ... hope someone can help!
