Tried my hands on some product shots of Jewellery:



These are of my mothers making, she makes such for her creative outlet after she became a pensioneer. These one has been rummanating in my catalogue for quite a while, but was brought forth with the masking tool in the recent LR update as I have no skills whatsoever in PS.

Other than the obvious specks of dust and such, I am rather keen on some C&C on the pictures, in overall as to suitability and style. Personally, I think they are somewhat ok in showing off the pieces but they aren't the most creative stuff.

Mater is nagging...

As somebody who has bought a lot of jewelry for Mrs. Kevin.... maybe try with a white lightbox background with close cropping so that the piece itself is what is prominent and the details of the craftmanship easier to see.
