Putting the lens up to a pair of binoculars

There may already be an appropriate thread for this sort of thing but i couldn't find one.

I was looking through a pair of Zeiss 10x binoculars at the birds and squirrel feeding in our garden and wondered if I could photograph it. I stuck my voigtlander 35mm 1.4 lens up against one of the eye cups close focused and then focused with the binoculars. Didn't expect much but I think the result was quite fun. Antique sort of feel to them.

I've done this in the past too and it's possible to get surprisingly good results.
you got some interestingly swirly b***h in a couple of them.
tried b&w conversions on these yet?

Yea I did start to but I quite liked the colour versions in the end. Look a bit colourised to me. May spend some time on B&W versions later though.
