Shot from the third floor, focus on the shiny thing. A friend's Q2 delivers outstanding quality wide open at f/1.7, at f/5.6 and yes, yes, even at f/16!
The extra megapixels make f/1.7 even crisper if you can believe it. In the other end, Q116 at f/16 was a stellar performer and Q2, despite supposedly having a lower diffraction threshold, produces a very pixel-peepable file even then.
I can't A/B compare Q2 against Q typ 116 but it would be a reasonable assessment that the two sharing the same exact lens design, Q2 produces more detail at every aperture.
