R.I.P. Stan Lee

I normally don’t give much attention to celebrity deaths. But this was a big one. I had the opportunity to meet and photograph Stan Lee at an event. Such a great genuine person.

Growing up Stan Lee had quite an impact on me as I poured over every inch of Marvel comics. It's a shame that the last few years of his life had some rough spots, may he rest in peace.

An Icon - I always loved seeing his cameo in the movies. He even did one for the Titans Go movie. Now that's a sense of humor.

He lived to 95 and created a mythology that will outlive him. He was also genuinely liked by many, many people. I was one of those kids reading his comic books. I wonder if Marvel will continue his cameos in a computer generated character.

For a cameo- it would be better to have a Photograph of Stan Lee in the new movies rather than CGI. Kind of like Hitchcock used for (at least) one cameo.
