One of the last times I was in Philadelphia, last year sometime, I walked out on the Ben Franklin Bridge and took some sunrise shots of both Camden and Philly from that vantage point. In one of the photos I took from up there, I noticed a pier right below the bridge that had evidently been turned into a park and it looked pretty cool. I was unaware of it before that. Here's the shot with the pier/park down below in the lower left portion of the photo:

So yesterday when I was in Philly, I decided to go check this place out. Turns out it was just developed into a park within the last 2-4 years (I already forget whether the sign said it was opened in 2011 or 2013). Anyway, I did a bunch of shooting there with the Zeiss 21mm. Here are a handful of them...

Cool place - really well done. Looks like they could have small concerts or performances there with the stepped seating. I'll have to check it out some summer evening - I'd bet its a pretty happening place.

Thanks everyone - the Zeiss 21 is as great a lens as I've ever used and I love finding good opportunities to use it. This little park and the bridge above were kind of made for it...
