Fuji Raw File Converter EX 2.0

In reading Rico's addition to his XT-1 Tips book (V.4) I successfully installed the newest raw file converter as he suggests. But, I admit to having no idea how this software relates to (in my case) LR. I expected it to be a plug-in, not a stand alone application, so I am totally confused as to how to use it in conjunction with LR/PS.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's basically Silkypix v4, an old version. The current pay version is v6, but this version doesn't support Fuji film simulation emulation.

No relationship to Lightroom at all.

While I'm on the subject of LR do you have any thoughts on to handle the "Lens Correction" panel given that it doesn't include the XT-1? I select "Fujifilm"but the choice of X body doesn't seem to have any further impact on the image.

lens correction is performed via RAW metadata. No need to select anything. Of course, all of this is discussed in the book, so no worries, you'll get there easily by reading on.
