I've uploaded this gallery of images after I was invited to look around and permitted a glimpse inside this historic Cape Town landmark.
Originally built in 1790, it was completely razed by a mountain fire (set by arsonists) in April 2021.
A dedicated group of Friends of Mostert's Mill are in the process of restoring it currently with the assistance of some excellent artisans.

I was honoured to be invited back to witness and record the sails being put in place on
Monday 1st March. I am a stills photographer, but due to the time-line story telling of the event,
I have made a short slide-show of some selected photos I took of that interesting process.
