Leica Rice Creek at Marshan Lake

All-Pro
Rice Creek meanders north of Saint Paul in Minnesota. Not too far out of the way to go get some shots after work, it makes its way through many lakes and under many footbridges. That results in many opportunities for scenic shots.

I've been exploring this creek since early spring. At first I was making my way into brush and prairie grass for shots, but the resulting ticks on me and in my clothes put a stop to that. Luckily there's a paved trail that covers much of its length, I'll stick to that. ;^)

Early spring shots are with the M240, latest summer shots are with the M9. I'm still learning to shoot the M9 to best effect.

Hi Vince,

On the M240 it was the 35-70 f4 Leica R. I look at those shots, and it just captures the detail.

For the M9, it was the Zeiss ZM 25mm F2.8. Don't judge the detail from that by the last three photos. Somehow I had the camera in a user profile which was only capturing JPEGs.
