This is a Gulfstream 550 that I'm flying. Its a little newer than the L1011!

A friend of mine who once flew for TWA was an L1011 captain and he really enjoyed that aircraft.

Off topic, but my most memorable flight was one of my worst, on a TWA flight in what was then a very aged L1011. Everything about the aircraft seemed well past its best before date. I'd been taking a rare trip home on a weekend to Vancouver from New York where I'd been transferred to, and this flight convinced me that I really wanted to return home to stay in the Pacific Northwest. I'd decided I'd had enough by the time we touched down in Seattle. I quit my job first thing Monday morning after spending a weekend hiking in the mountains and rock climbing with old friends.
