Ricoh now offering the GXR and S10 (24-72mm equivalent) kit at reduced prices

Adorama is now offering the Ricoh GXR-S10 kit at a more competitive price of $599. Still a considerable price premium over most fixed-lens small sensor compacts, but very competitive with other interchangeable lens digital cameras.

I'd love to hear more about this camera from someone here at SC who's used one. Sounds like a very cool idea, if not terribly practical or affordable.
