I wish mine was still working. It broke about four years ago. Now replaced by a Mk3. The Mk3 has many good points - but I still prefer the images from the Mk1.

I don't know if our users of the RX-100 are already aware, but there is handy little Sony add-on that makes holding the camera a little better, but without affecting the pocketability. It was about AUD10 and I had to wait quite a while as it was on back order. I think it fits most marks, certainly fine on my m vii. Has a self adhesive backing.

From my local camera shop here in Oz. Should be available through any Sony camera stockist; shop or online. It is a genuine Sony accessory. In my case it was on back order from March, but came through eventually this month. It was listed as:
Sony AGR2 Attachment Grip for RX100, RX100M2 & RX100M3
Although it certainly fits my vii OK.

Just looked at Sony UK..... £13 (about 25 UAD).

Not too bad, but still 2.5x the price that you paid.

Just checked the invoice and it converts to GBP8.25, a bit under $16. Memory deserted me.

Ok, thanks Ian. The UK price still works out at 57.5% more than you paid. Looks as though Sony are stinging us, in the UK.

Trip to Riga 🇱🇻 became my farewell trip with Sony DSC-RX100.4. Not that I've been disappointed with the pictures it can take, but the process didn't answer to my expectations anymore, or ever, if I'm bluntly honest. Now sold and waiting delivery to new owner.
