It's already confirmed for Germany and Netherlends. Its pretty obvious that they'll close the camera department and produce no more cameras and lenses.

Too bad their products never got the traction they deserved. They really did know what they're doing. There might be some really good deals coming up for those who don't need to develop or expand their system throughout the years.

There are a few anecdotes here and there that point the other direction (rumors about a new product at CES, etc), but for the most part the sentiment is very pessimistic. If NX mount was a publicly traded stock, its price would be way way down. I, for one, actually just bought knowing discontinuation was a possibility. Some folks are resigned to riding their Samsung gear, as long as it lasts, into the sunset.
