Samsung Samsung tl 350 vs tl 500

I am considering both of these cameras as small p&s's. I really like th 1080p video at 30 fps on the tl 350 but it has a smaller sensor and a slightly slower lens, but longer zoom range. The tl 500 has a 1/1.7 size sensor vs the 1/ 2.4 on the tl 350. This is a 50% increase I believe. Is the tl 350 a very good camera with a low price and worth purchasing or should I wait to see about the new Nikon 2.5x crop cameras coming out soon? Can you change focus on the tl 350 while using the video mode?

I have the TL500 but don't buy it for the video. Got a good deal so didn't consider the 350. The fast lens and bigger sensor swayed me too.
