I find this to be a very versatile lens.

This is at minimum focusing distance (0.28m) - the statue is beside a pub doorway and the head is only a few inches tall:

Yeah, I really like it. Doesn't seem to have caught on though.

I have the Rokinon 21mm f1.4, same lens of course, and it has become my favorite lens. I made the mistake of selling the first one I had when I got the Fuji 23mm f1.4 but, missed it enough to get a second one.

I thought about getting rid of mine to use some vintage Nikon lenses instead, but (thankfully) decided against it. I managed to pick up a good secondhand 12/2 to go with it a few months back. I've been quite tempted by their new 35, but I have a Nikon 50/1.4AIS on a focal reducer that covers that focal length pretty nicely already.
