Leica Showcase Schacht 135/3.5 Leica Mount

Brian

Product of the Fifties
It was a sunny, warm day with trees blooming in the neighborhood. Will be cold and Rainy this weekend.

Good day to get out with the Telephoto lenses on the M9.

This is a German made Schacht 135/3.5 Travenar. This is a 4-element in 3-group Sonnar, beautifully finished in Black and Chrome. This lens is light, lighter than the Canon 135/3.5. It uses the same sized filters and hoods, 48mm. This lens was not expensive, like most 135's in Leica Thread Mount- was under $100.

All shots wide-open, close-focus is 5ft. Focus was perfect on the M9, no adjustments required.
