Every once in a while, Craigslist has a real deal. Today, I picked up these gems:

Nikon FG, 50/1.8 Series E, a Five-Star 70-200/4.5, Nikon SB-15 speedlight and a CPC case.

All for a whopping fifty bucks! I think the camera will need new seals, but so far it all seems to be working.

Happy birthday - and yes, the FG is quite a good camera, considering its placement as a beginner's tool; I had an FG-20 for some time that I loved to bits because it was small and light, yet delivered the goods - not quite on the level of the FM3a, but close.
