Largest crowds in history expected. I will be in Thursday morning. Need to scope out shooting points. Best friend will have the RV set up. Lemans cars 1000 mile race Friday night. 12 Hrs. Endurance of Sebring Sat Morning. Epic.

This is how the WEC finished at midnight Fri. Toyota 1 and 2. They made it look easy. Lap record by 3 sec. Unheard of.

The Toyota team made it look easy Friday night and finished 1,2 in WEC Championship. Fernando Alonso set a track lap record by 3 seconds along the way

These were the WEC Cars, they ran last night for 8 hrs.. The 12 hrs of Sebring is running now in on and off rain. The WEC cars are quicker. but by only 2-3 sec per lap.

Congratulations to Cadillac on their 1,2,3 finish. Roger Penske's Acura team just could not handle the wet but managed to place 4th on the same lap as the winner. Not a bad finish after 12 hrs. of racing.

I did learn I will have to get serious about the 50-140 if I want to shoot this next year. Without IOS this is a tough proposition and the 18-55 is too short. 90 is almost too long at times so the zoom it's going to be. Still kicking my own ass for not renting it.

You did a good job with what you had. I do agree that the focal range and IS of the 50-140 would make that job easier. The rebates are good through the end of March.
