No more different or disruptive when Google Glass was in play. Our sensibilities, privacy thresholds and social conduct expectations will change over time - and it needs to change as fast as the technology - otherwise we will be looking at a modern day burning of the Weaving Machine. Legislation and Court comprehension of certain technology segments are particularly, painfully behind the times.
 
who needs spy cam when you have people blaring out details on their cell phone in:

Restaurants
On the bus
on the train
in the cinema
walking along the hight street

about

Their love life
arguments with wife/husband
ditto with mother in law
where they are going, who with, when and how

Or all of the above (and more.....with lurid pictures) placed; for all eternity, on Facebook
 
The Millennials have a completely different concept of privacy, ownership and discretion to the Perennials. All of us posting here are in the latter camp and find their behaviour inexplicable and often distasteful or disrespectful.
