I got lucky - see here. I've not owned a Q before, though - but I was allowed to handle a friend's when the first version came out.
Still finding my feet with the 43 which is not without its quirks - for instance, in macro mode, your maximum aperture is f/2.8, like it was here; that means that between 26.5cm and 60cm, you're not able to use f/2. That has happened before with Leica (I remember the X Typ 113 doing this at close quarters as well - very disconcerting for users because it wasn't documented in the manual; neither is it this time around), but I still was somewhat put off when finding this out. However, I certainly can't complain about optical performance overall. And a 43mm lens with 26.5cm MFD is pretty useful, especially if it's as sharp and well corrected as this one - and coupled with a 60MP sensor ...
