Tonight was one of the first decent snowings but it's not sticking because it's not cold enough.

Had to go out of the house because my girl wouldn't shut up about going out tonight ... so here she is making a ghostly appearance ... too early for Halloween.

Aaaaaaaaaaand the snowing stopped, it never lasts down here in my valley ... but I can see the hills all around gather snow like a powdered doughnut and I am stuckk in the middle, in the hole.

So I went to my only local East European shop (in Wellington) looking for some snacks because I need comfort food when I am ill and the kid at the counter seemed very interested in my camera and kept asking "Good camera?" and "HD?". I tried to tell him that I could record 4K video if I wanted and that it has 20 MP but he didn't seem very interested in that and out of the blue he asked me to take his picture (something that extremely rarely happens to me) so I was happy to provide. Switched my Oly 17mm PRO to 45mm PRO and framed him in front of his Tabacco stand because the yellow really made his jacket stand out.

I tried a second time with HHHR to see if can get me more subtle shades for Monochrome image and I am very happy with how it looks in Black & White. He asked if I could send the image to his phone but it's too annoying to go through the app so I promised to send him on WhatsApp when I get home and edit the images, he is very happy with both of them.

So we got to my favourite Turkish-owned Kebab place that I haven't visited for over a year (no, it's not the start of a new year joke) and asked for a Burger. The guys seemed to be quite busy with lots of orders, they know me quite well and they are not bothered by me snapping some images here and there while I wait.

Pizzas at the ready, waiting to fire up the oven when they get the order.

Lots of sauces, at least they don't use the cheap ASDA stuff that everyone can get.

Some burger buns are ready for my burger.

They take orders through Just Eat but I would rather not use the app if I can because they cut a huge commission from the business more then me (50 Pence from me) and that's just not nice.

Yum yum Kebabs, chicken and lamb. It's been a very long time since I had kebabs and I do miss them sometimes (I know they are not very healthy with all the grease on them).

To my surprise, the owner started slicing a bit of the lamb kebab and wrapping them up in a paper bag ...

... and asked me if he could give it to my Little Legs. I said yes because she has been a good girl today and she does love kebab as much as I do. She has been so polite and even said thank you in her doggie way. Both owners (brothers) seem to really like Nuggie, so we ended up with a little treat for her to take home.

The snow is dying down by the time we were heading home and I have little hope an expectation to get some truly white landscapes for tomorrow.

A little puddle play image before getting home. So that was our adventure for today, still not getting better and I can't risk going out for too long as I don't want to get worse.
