The Panasonic 9mm made it possible to show both the extend and the origin of the landslide. For the record, things are still moving, almost daily, though by now very slowly.
Got out with Nova after our second snowfall. The city did well to get the sidewalks cleared, but it was still interesting in some places.
All images are JPG out of camera from the Samsung NX30. Monochromes are the "Classic" picture wizard, color images with the "Retro" picture wizard

The debris cone has now widened to more than twice its initial size; earth and debris have spilled over into the other half of the canal.

Much better light than yesterday; quite a few trees have obviously been dragged along by the landslide. A whole portion of the hillside has moved - you can actually see the edge, it's just below the trees that are still upright, even those further away.
