Walking around Talent, Oregon, population 6,224 (as of the last count) this cloudy Spring morning, I stopped at a railroad crossing....though no trains were coming.

Another stroll - through the neighboring town of Ashland, Oregon, principally known for its lavish and wonderful theatre productions of Shakespeare at the OSF (Oregon Shakespeare Festival). But Ashland also has its more blue-collar down-to-earth side - seen here in an auto graveyard / car wrecking yard -

Both of these were taken with my (new to me) insanely tiny Olympus bodycap lens, whose manual focus is done via click stops using a plastic lever, and one set aperture (f/8); it lives up to Weegee's old adage 'f/8 and be there'
