I stood over the scene pondering for so long the bird probably thought I was a prospective meali like the bird in #2 !

A couple of shots while walking along the bay.
The ship needs some background: The ship is a reproduction of Columbus' Niña. In 1992 to mark the 500th anniversary of Columbus' voyage, the Spanish government had replicas of the Santa Maria, Pinta, and Niña built and sailed to the city of Corpus Christi, Texas. This is the only ship left. During hurricane Harvey, she sank when a pump failed. Today, she is covered in barnacles, but plans are to restore her.
The other shot is something seen.
