strolled alongside the beachline of Hangzhou Bay - a tiny part of the cracking furnaces of SPC's Ethylene Cracker. SPC aka Shanghai Petrochemical Complex, was initially built alongside the north share of Hangzhou Bay, and started up in 1972 for releasing the pressing demand of clothing for the nation. The most processing and manufacturing plants were built based on Japanese patents/technologies in order for supplying synthetic fibers as the national cotton supply was far short from the demand in 1960s.

strolled alongside the beachline of Hangzhou Bay - A tiny part of the delayed coking plant. Nowadays clothings are absolutely not an issue for the nation however this change has hit SPC hard in recent 20 years because the stragetic development design in the first place didn't take much in account of extensive project expansion for production transformation, as the result SPC has been struggling for competing its sister companys (all of them are subsidiaries of SINOPEC, as is SPC) and a few of them have been listed as the top oil refiners and petrochemical manufacturers in the world.

stroll alongside the Hangzhou Bay - Hangzhou bay is the second largest bay of China coastal line. The bay is known as the muddy water bay as the seawater contains a great deal of silt clay. In order to build a seawater park, in 2004 the seawater area by a part of north shore of the bay was encircled with concrete blocks and million tons of seasand was tugged to the park area and laid in-situ. Since the park is completed, the concrete dam encirclement divides the seawater into blue and brown zone.
