Martin, it took me a long time to learn how to cut to exactly the right length, and then a bit longer to learn how to cut just a tiny bit shorter so that the bloody thing would fit without using a sledge hammer ...And then when it doesn't fit, say "I don't understand, I measured it and measured it"...at least, that's what happens to me!
I assume we are talking about power saws here.
