Performing Arts Send in the clowns!

Petach

Location

Name
Peter Tachauer
They say, all good things must end
no forever in love
and the sadness eats away
my smile not what you thought
I am but a lost soul, my smile a masque
bound always, you said
But...I am still here
the rictus grin, I am still here.......
a clown until I am dust.

The Grimaldi memorial day at Haggerston East London. It has now become a battle of photographers. More shooters than clowns. This was the 1st memorial since Covid and I was shocked to see how many had passed on in the intervening years. Pretty much every shot was a battle between guys with 3 cameras around their necks AND huge back packs containing ....their ego's?. One actually barged on front of me and knocked my camera to one side. I grabbed the straps on his back pack and spun him like a top. Funniest thing I saw all day!

Civilization goes out the door once people start to compete about a parking spot photo op.

Superb shots Peter. Pity about the photographers though, perhaps they were the clowns!

A few more from the Grimaldi Memorial Service in Haggerston London. These with the Panny GX9 + 12-32mm lens

It's like that over here now, definite signs of it at the recent Chinese new year celebrations at Trafalgar Square, last year at the Russian embassy as the war was breaking out and most definitely at 10 Downing Street on the day the PM was punted, very much a case of competing 400mm lenses and even step ladders ahoy. One of those rhetorical questions that are never answered by Barristers but they all professionals? Well done on getting the entertaining images and good to see you can look after yourself.
