Serious Compacts Photograph of the Year 2013

A thin year with the camera. Lightroom tells me I have precisely 389 pictures from 2013. Of these 217 were taken at the zoo and 127 of those involve pandas. I did quite like this one even though it's a bit iffy technically when you look closely. I liked two things about it. First, this is in the East building of the National Gallery designed by I.M. Pei. There's hardly a square angle to be found since the design is organised around two triangles and the guy's posture matched the building perfectly. Second, I liked him as 'everyman' - we've all been there at that point when we run out of energy and enthusiasm for another masterpiece, another museum, another attraction.
