Impressive. If I had photographed that scene, I would have identified them as "a pair of military helicopters".

AH1 Apache from Wattisham Airfield. We get these flying over the village quite low on a regular basis.

I am technically an Air Traffic Controller, but I'm timed out age wise. I have my thumbs in all sorts of pies: Quality Control and Training, Airspace and Procedures, Automation, even some IT here and there.

Too old at 60! what is the world coming to. That seems a bit much to a 73 year old but then again I did retire at 60!
