LOL. I'm planning to retire this Autumn, too. In our profession, we are not eligible to work the operations after age 56. I'll have 32 years of service at my retirement. That's enough for me - time for a new chapter. There was an article in our agency newsletter not long ago about an agency employee that retired at 47 years of service! My supervisor is trying his darndest to talk me out of retiring this year. I've accused him of secretly plotting with my wife, who also isn't fond of the idea. They both laugh when I suggest they are conspiring together, but I wonder . . .I can retire at 66 yrs. old from my job in October. My Director has me signed up for 5 more. Her timetable and mine are not even in the same Hemisphere. It's good to be loved but...….
