Hi there,

Just like in the topic. Do you think it's worth getting the XF55-200mm lens or should I keep waiting for the XF50-140 which is going to be faster and with WR.

Cheers

depends on what you want to do.

I use the 200mm focal length a lot so I'd get the 55-200mm but if you need the weather sealing, the faster aperture and don't need above 210mm equivalent then the choice has been made for you.

I'm in the same boat there. I need 200mm far more than I need 2.8. Although the high ISO performance of the fuji cams and the great ois in the 55-200 have made it useable is some terrible light for me. And I just picked up a canon fd 135mm 2.8 with adapter for low $$$ to cover the 2.8 need when it should arise.

I am waiting for the 50-140, price will be much more than the 55-200 that's a given (hopefully not dangerously high like Canon and Nikon's 70-200 2.8s)...the 50-140 someone/article mentioned it will also be MUCH BIGGER...but hopefully not FF bigger as it defeats the purpose for most of us for 'downsizing" on volume and weight.
