Jan, Kundry looks like a really big sweetheart - happy belated birthday! Although I haven't inundated this site, yet, I am a serious dog lover.

Will, if I had an iPhone it would work for me - that's a fox isn't it?! I've seen some other really nice shots with the iPhone's camera, too, so yes, I think it is serious enough. As someone else posted on another thread - the "seriousness" of a compact is more about the intent of the photographer than the actual camera. That's what I think, anyway, and I'm stickin' to it.

Karen, that is a real nice photo of Bootsie, crisp, colors are spot on, the angle and point of view are exactly how I think the most of us see cats, very comfy.

Nice! I don't think I would be brave enough to get that close.

This is my friend's dog Belle. She doesn't mind posing for pictures, but you have to snap the photo when it's convenient for her. Meaning, when she's finally tired of chasing birds across a farmer's field and lays down for a rest under the shade of a picnic table. :smile:
