Thread to explore Art Deco examples - anything from Buildings , Gardens, Furniture, Ceramics, Jewellery etc

This house has fascinated me for years but was screened from view by a massive Leylandi hedge until recently. Built in 1934 its one of the best examples of Art Deco locally
Original windows were thin steel, painted green & a lot more elegant

Zoom proved extremely useful as this is taken from well over ½ mile then cropped
370mm equivalent zoom Hand held.

Love art deco, Morocco has lots of it. Here's an old cinema from the time Sidi Ifni was a Spanish enclave called Santa Cruz de la Mar Pequeña. It's full of architectural gems like this, and probably my favourite town in Morocco.

Might post some more later on. Thanks for starting this thread!

never would have thought that Morocco could have Art Deco gems
everyday is a learning day

There is a small town in New Zealand which has its own version of Art Deco - looking forward to seeing some examples

all over the place in the UK …… ordinary buildings ……. here is one from just down the road … Plaza theatre Romsey Hampshire

Probably get knocked down in a few years to build some retirement apartments when a developer 'smells" money

bit "shadowy" but C'est la vie - for the avoidance of doubt "showdowy" does not refer to any property developer …… it refers to the image
