Yesterday's bike ride of about two and a half hours was my first extended ride of the past two weeks. I did get in a couple of 30-40 minute rides around the neighborhood, but I had other things I was worried about.
This is an old Exage rear derailleur, I was going to junk it, but I may want to hold onto it a while longer. I went to the nearby bike shop to pick up some basic parts today, and struck out on all 3 items. The owner told me me COVID has so disrupted supply lines that they've had some basic parts on order for months, and have taken to cannibalizing old bikes they have in storage in order to complete needed repairs. He said my best bet was to find a cheap old junk bike and strip it for the parts I need.
