I'm on auto iso, would f11 bring me to 800 automatically? Thanks for the tip. I'm worried about iso that's why I keep the Fstop's medium. I lose sharpness that way I guess. Still a student, and some lens don't show a diff between (8-11). I'll try that though
Switch off auto ISO, shoot aperture priority mode, watch out for the SS! Just while you are learning more. This minimizes variables which are irrelevant to learning, and highly relevant to outcomes.

For an APSC sensor, f/11 will give similar DoF to f/8 on mFTs and f/16 on 135 format.

Most APSC format lenses will perform best between f/8 and f/16.

There are differences in the lenses between formats! Many APSC and FF lenses (most/all?) are not as sharp in zone 2/3/corners as most similar mFTs lenses are, specially not wide open. There are exceptions! The FTs 18-180 and mFTs 12-200 are both very ordinary, for examples.

The moral of this, is get to know how your cameras and lenses. Best done by experimenting.
